Under the dynamic leadership of Mr Keng, Whampoa Keng group of restaurent have grown from a single hawker stall to owning a chain of profitable food outlets with its own central kitchen and catering subsidiary.

Todate, Mr Keng's group of restaurants has won many awards with the ultimate culinary accolade for fish head steamboat, being recognised as one of the four heavenly kings in Singapore.

 

  1990 Whampoa Keng set up a small stall inWhampoa area
  1998 Whampoa Kengset up a hawker stall in Whampoa market
  2002 Whampoa Keng took up an entire unit at Balestier Road
  2007 Whampoa Keng started the first restaurant in Rangoon Road
  2008 Whampoa Keng renovated the balastier main branch and converted it to a restaurant
